Project Overview
Approximately 126 m² of Elastomac carriageway repair was completed for a local authority during a single overnight working window.
Worn surfacing, previous patching and localised defects were repaired in a single overnight working window, leaving a clean finished carriageway surface.
The Problem: Localised Deterioration & Existing Patch Failures
The primary issue was localised carriageway deterioration and existing patch failures. The existing carriageway showed worn surfacing, previous patching and localised defects.
Full-Width Repair in a Single Overnight Shift
Elastomac’s rapid cure allowed the team to switch traffic management from one side of the carriageway to the other, completing the full-width repair in a single night.
This avoided a second TM setup and kept disruption to a minimum, with repaired areas trafficable in approximately 10 minutes.
1 Night Delivery Window
Approximately 126 m² of Elastomac carriageway repair was completed during a single overnight working window.
Full-Width Repair in One Shift
Traffic management was switched from one side of the carriageway to the other, completing the full-width repair in a single night.
Rapid Cure
Repaired areas were trafficable in approximately 10 minutes.
Reduced Disruption
The single-night approach avoided a second TM setup and kept disruption to a minimum.
