Environmental and repeat-visit impact
Where a treatment reduces repeat visits and waste, it normally reduces whole-life carbon as well. If your issue is a recurring pothole, failed patch or HGV-loaded surface defect, start with our pothole repair service. For localised waterproof surface defects, Elastomac is often the preferred repair system. For early-stage cracking, joint sealing may be more suitable as a preventative treatment.
Where each treatment is not ideal

- Pothole repair: not a substitute for full resurfacing where the entire carriageway has widespread failure.
- Elastomac: best used for localised defects, cracks, failed patches and waterproof surface repairs, not full-length resurfacing.
- Asphalt patching: can require repeat visits if water ingress and defect edges are not properly addressed.
- HFS: not intended as a cosmetic surface; best used where skid risk is the driver.
- Road markings: does not resolve underlying surface defects or skid resistance issues.
- Joint sealing: best as early intervention; late-stage failures may require deeper repair.
